Hudson, NC – Mr. Todd Wilson of Hudson passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital.  Mr. Wilson was born in Gaston County, NC, to the late Ruth Todd Wilson and James Lee Wilson. He attended school in Mt. Holly, NC and served in the US Navy during World War II. He retired from Bellsouth after 42 years of service and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of North Carolina. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and attending flea markets. He was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church, Hudson, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers: James Wilson, Torrence Wilson, and Coit Wilson; and one sister: Sarah Wilson. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Harrelson Wilson of the Home; a son, Eric Wilson and wife Chao of Lenoir; grandchildren, Emily and Ethan Wilson; a brother, Carson Wilson and wife Nelda, of Mt. Holly; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Mr. Wilson’s life will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Dr. Tim Brittain officiating. Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
