Tina Marie Woods

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Tina Marie Woods, age 38, of Lenoir, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2013 at the Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Born August 1, 1975, Tina was a daughter of Kenneth and Margaree Stallman Burchette. She had worked many years as the Senior cook at a Youth Camp. She enjoyed playing the piano and was able to play by ear. She enjoyed decorating, making crafts and scrapbooking. Tina will be remembered as a loving wife and mother and a lady who loved and would do anything for her family. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Burchette and her paternal grandparents, Eugene and Deomie Burchette. Survivors include her husband of 9 years, Radford Woods of Lenoir; a daughter, Sierra Vance, husband Randy, of Lenoir; a son, Dillion Triplette of Lenoir; a step son, Daniel Woods of Lenoir; three sisters, Stephanie Robbins, husband Marshall, Sherry Hamby, husband Junior, and Deedee Huggins, husband Louis; two brothers, Stephen Burchette and Stacey Burchette; two grandchildren, Serenity Vance and Raelynn Vance; her maternal grandparents, George and Ella Stallman; and her mother in law, Shirley Faye Woods; she is also survived by numerous other relatives.  A celebration of Tina’s life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 12:00 PM at the New Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Angle and Pastor Waitsel Beard officiating. Interment will take place in the Woods family cemetery in Darby. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church.
