Timothy Ray Triplett

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Timothy “Tim” Ray Triplett, age 70, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir.Born March 17, 1945 in Wilkes County, he was a son of the late Commodore and Beatrice Greene Triplett. He was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed all types of woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Grogan Triplett; two daughters, Abbie L. Bolick and husband Ted of Lenoir; Aimee Triplett of Lenoir; one sister, Judy Greene of Lenoir; two brothers, Lonnie Triplett and wife Elizabeth of Lenoir; Tony Triplett of Granite Falls and one granddaughter, Jordan D. Bolick of Lenoir. A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Raymond Spann officiating.Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday prior to the service from 1:30 until 3:00. Flowers are appreciated or memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
