Thomas E. Watson

Thomas Watson Lenoir – Mr. Thomas E. Watson, age 68, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. He was born in Watauga County on August 8, 1945 to the late Cornelius Roosevelt Watson and Roxy Carroll Watson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lena Maybell Watson; sons, Timothy George Watson, Joseph Watson; daughter, MayMay Watson; brothers, Floyd Watson and Burly Watson; sisters, Verlee Goulds, Dollie Steelman, Hollie V. Eller, and Shirley Phillips. Mr. Watson is survived by his sons, Dinkie Watson and wife, Sherry; Pee Wee Watson and wife, Christy; Thomas L. Watson and wife, Vickie; Richard Watson and wife, Wilma; daughter, Juanita Cole and husband, William; grandchildren, Ricky Watson and wife, Jessica; Brandon Watson; Terry Watson and wife, Melissa; Carrie Watson and husband, Jr.; Christopher Watson and wife, Kim; L. J. Watson; Royce Cole; Jacob Cole; Adam Berry; Ronnie Berry; Anthony Perry; Samuel Perry; and Pojoe Perry; great-grandchildren, Jordan Watson; Michala Watson; Zachary Benge; Zander Benge; Hailey Watson; Joshua Berry; brothers, Talmage Watson of Warrensville; Teddy Watson of Fleetwood; C.R. Watson of Rutherford College; Martha Gant of Granite Falls; Sue Earp of Wilkesboro; Ella Lee Stallman of Boomer; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating.
