Thomas Ned Triplett

Thomas Ned Triplett, age 65, of Lenoir, passed away July 25, 2020 at his residence. Ned was born on November 16, 1954, in Caldwell Co. to the late Bryant Triplett and Viola Smith Triplett. Ned was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with those he loved the most. Ned and his wife Tina spent their days of retirement with family and friends. Ned knew the importance of quality time so he and Tina spent much of their time together fishing, traveling, gardening, and simply enjoying life together. Ned will be remembered by many as a great role model. His sense of humor and wisdom drew in all who would listen. His comforting spirit was a constant in the lives of his children, Jessica and Ben. In addition to his parents, Ned was preceded in death by his brothers, Roby Triplett and Dennis Triplett; and his sisters, Sylvia Triplett, Shirley Brakefield, Jerry Soots, Rachael Bickley, and Lois Parsons. Those he leaves behind are his wife of 32 years, Tina Woods Triplett of the home; daughter Jessica Triplett Spears and husband Chris Spears of Granite Falls, NC and son Benjamin Thomas Triplett of the home; sister Betty Moore of Boone, NC; grandson Anderson Lee Spears and granddaughter Emory Larkin Spears of Granite Falls, NC.
