Thomas Edward Tierney

Lenoir, NC – Mr. Thomas Edward Tierney, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Grace Hospital in Morganton, NC. Mr. Tierney was born in Trenton, NJ on September 5, 1953 to the late Thomas John Tierney and Joan Lynch Tierney. He attended Indiana University, and was married to Debbie Brown Tierney of the residence. Other than his wife, he is survived by his son, Thomas Edward Tierney, Jr.; daughter, Nichole Tierney; two beautiful granddaughters, Rylie Jade and Emma Claire Tierney, who reside locally. His brothers, Bob Tierney, Dr. William Tierney; and sister, Mary Ann Owens, are also survivors from Indianapolis, IN.
