Lenoir, NC- Mr. Thomas ?Tommy? John Hatfield, age 48, of Lenoir, died Friday, November 6, 2009. Born October 25, 1961 in Caldwell County, was a son of the late William Reid Hatfield and Mrs. Sarah Prestwood Kimberlin of Morganton. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and worked for Univord in Moncure, NC. Other than his mother, he is survived by his children; Jonathan Daniel Hatfield and wife Sara and their children Logan and Landon of St. Louis, MO; Technical Sergeant, Thomas Reid Hatfield of Aviano, Italy; Robert Hayes Hatfield and wife Whitney B. and their child, Hayden of Clemmons, NC; Emma Hatfield Sidden and husband Daniel of Charles City, IA; Hannah Carolyn Hatfield and fiancée, Chris Wiltse; Tom?s Fiancée, Mary Grice Still and her son, John-David Still of Raleigh; Sister, Marylin Waters and husband Tommy of Morganton; Brother, Bill Hatfield of Warren, SC; the children?s maternal-grandparents, Marshall and Gail Adams of Lenoir; nephews and nieces, Bubba Evitt of Morganton; Baby Evitt of Morganton; Matt Waters and wife Katie of Charlotte; Mandi Waters of Morganton; Megan Waters of Morganton; Erika Kiser, Chuck Kiser, Kyle Gurly, Chelsey Adams and Jessie Adams, all of Lenoir. A celebration of Mr. Hatfield?s life will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 11, 2009 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with President Kiser and David Shockley officiating. Burial will follow in the Collier?s Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 10, 2009 from 6 until 8 PM at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory in Lenoir. Pallbearers will be: Hoss Prestwood, Bubba Evitt, Marty Adams, Bo Goodson, Jim Blanton, Carl Blanton and Micah Dancy.
