Thomas (Tommy) E. Clark

Thomas Clark Lenoir, NC- Mr. Thomas “Tommy” Eugene Clark, age 71 of Lenoir, passed away Friday, April 13, 2012 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. He was born in Avery County on October 27, 1940 to the late David Clark and Mary Lee Webb Clark. He was married to Nancy Hubbard Clark of the home. Tommy was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired from General Electric and was a member of Harrisburg Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Bonnie Church, Dora Johnson, Ruth Reid, and Faye Anthony. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Tammy Slater and husband, David; son, David Clark and wife, Amanda; granddaughter, Allyson Frazier; grandson, Seth Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held at Harrisburg Baptist Church on Monday, April 16, 2012 at 2:00 with Pastor Tony Harris and Pastor Ted Williams officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be: Bill Johnson, Ray Miller, Neal Thompson, Seth Clark, Scott Kirby and Creig Kirby.
