Thomas Bolick

Collettesville- Mr. Thomas Dale Bolick, age 67 of 166 Paradise Run Lane, Collettesville, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. He was born on February 10, 1949 in Caldwell County to the late Howard and Deatte Coffey Bolick. He is also preceded in death by his sister Phyllis Billings. Dale is survived by his children, Teresa Ford and husband Wilburn, Lisa Huffman and husband Terry, Tim Bolick and wife Sharon, Windy Hampton, and Brittany Bolick. Brothers; Lonnie Byrd, Gerald Bolick and wife Barbra, sisters; Gail Bass and husband James, and Jean Nelson. The special joys of his life were his grandchildren; Alicia Ford Gilliam, Tyler Ford, Cassidy Ford, William Ford, Payton Bolick, Parris Bolick, Paige Bolick, John Hampton, Heather Hampton, Grace Tacheny. He is survived by two great-grandchildren; Daniel Rattler and Brantley Gilliam. Dale was a dedicated employee of Bernhardt Furniture Plant 7 . He enjoyed spending time outdoors and his hobbies included hunting and fishing but he loved to spend Sunday afternoons watching NASCAR. A memorial service honoring Mr. Bolick’s life will he held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at New Hopewell Baptist Church, Carey’s Flat NC at 2:00 PM. Preacher Lewis Hollars Jr. officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Seby B Jones Regional Cancer Center, 338 Deerfield Road, Boone, NC 28607.
