Terry Eugene Smith

Lenoir- Terry Eugene Smith, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 16, 2022. He was born in Burke County on November 2, 1951 to Bill and Marlene Smith. He was married to Vickie Honeycutt of the home. Terry was a loving and caring husband. He loved playing golf and he enjoyed old cars. Other than his wife and parents, he is survived by his step-daughter, Megan Garrison and grandson, Brady; and his sons, Chase and Cameron. A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at Bethel Advent Christian Church on Monday, June 20, 2022 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Don Key and Pastor Jerry Burnette officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will include: Alan Reid, Matt Novotny, Chris Brown, Shawn Brown, Gabe Brown, and Mike Culler. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon Ingram and Demetrius “Pookie” Kersey. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:00 prior to the service.
