Terry Mcdonald

Hudson – Terry Lee McDonald, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, December 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Caldwell County on March 8, 1947 to the late Bill McDonald and Lena Mae Brookshire McDonald. He was married to Elizabeth Watts McDonald of the home for 56 years. Terry loved his music and played every Sunday at Woodlands BBQ in Blowing Rock for 16 years. He retired from Fairfield Chair, Plant 2 in 2014, where he worked in the lumberyard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Steve McDonald. Other than his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Teresa Lorraine McDonald; son, Bill McDonald; brother, Gene McDonald; grandchildren, Tyler James McDonald; Mason James McDonald; Morgan Kent McDonald; Ciara Wagner; and Macey Larae Catherman; great-grandchildren, Andy McDonald; Will McDonald; Remington Lackey; Aerlan Wagner; and Graylan Wagner; and other family members. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
