Terry William Hicks

Lenoir, NC- Terry William Hicks, age 42, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at his home. Born August 22, 1971 in Caldwell County, Terry was the son of Mattie Spears of Lenoir and Jerry William Hicks of Granite Falls. He was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandfather, Lonnie Hartley and Paternal Grandparents, Conley and Laura Hicks. Terry enjoyed riding dirt bikes, loved fast cars and was an auto mechanic. He had attended Caldwell Community College in the Mechanic̢۪s Program. Other than his parents, he is survived by his three children, Trevor Hicks, Nikki Hicks and Rachel Hicks, all of Hudson; the mother of his children, Annette Hicks Winkler; his maternal Grandmother, Ruby Kincaid Hartley of Lenoir, one brother, Jerry Junior Hicks and wife Dana Michelle of Lenoir; two sisters, Teresa H. Trivette of Lenoir, Linda Boykin of Hickory and his nieces and nephews, Brittany, Ethan, Dreama, Tyler, Brandon and great-nephew, Decklyn. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles and other relatives. The family will be receiving friends on Monday, February 10, 2014 from 5:00 until 6:30 PM at Evans Funeral Service.
