Terry Lee Harrison

June 27, 1956 — August 28, 2023

Terry Harrison, 67, of Patterson, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023.

Terry was born on June 27, 1956 to the late J.C. and Marinda Harrison.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Eric Thomas Moss and his grandparents.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jeanie Harrison; daughters, Christina and Amanda Jean; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his brother, Tim Harrison (Brenda); sisters, Barbara Stone (Larna), Patricia “TC” Ibarra (Manuel), and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, many other relatives and friends; and his furry companions.

Terry was a very dedicated and talented carpenter.  He could do anything he set his mind to. Among his many talents, he worked on high rises in Washington, DC.  He was a master “Piddler”.

Terry is well known for his carp fishing talents.  Terry and Timmy were both known at the carp pond as the “Harrison Boys”.  He always sat in his fishing chair calling the carp, “here piggy piggy”.

“Sorry boys, the carp bait recipes are in the Harrison safe.”

Terry was a wonderful man, generous with his time, willing to help out at the drop of a hat.  He never expected anything in return.  He loved some good chicken wings with ranch dressing, shrimp, and having fish fries with his family.  He was an outdoorsman, an avid fisherman, loved surf fishing with his brother and cousins.  The trips to Fontana with Timmy and his cousins always provided many good fish tales.  Terry caught his fair share of crappy, trout, walleye, and any fish with gills; not only could he clean a fish, but he could skin a deer with his eyes closed and then go eat a bologna sandwich.

He was an admirable family man.  He loved his children, all his grandbabies, nieces, and nephews.

Terry and Jeanie were together 38 years and built a wonderful life.  He loved his wife, Jeanie with all his heart.

Terry was one of four rambunctious siblings.  The fab four were raised to stay close and love each other endlessly.  He and his baby brother; Timmy were inseparable.  They were joined at the hip.  These two were a team of kick butt fisherman and whipped some good tail.  In the words of Terry, “we waxed them good”.  Terry and Timmy were close, but there were also the two older sisters that mothered and loved him just as much.  He definitely tried their patience, and help toughen them girls up.  Terry was the water hose keeper when it came to helping his mom and Aunt Coma do their laundry in the backyard, he contributed to Aunt Coma’s exercise the day he decided to put the water hose up her skirt.

There are no words to describe the love his family has for him.  Terry will be immensely missed by everyone who knew him.
