Terri Hendrix

Lenoir- Terri Presnell Hendrix , age 62, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on December 13, 1958 to the late Preston Presnell and Mary Lib Craig Presnell. She was married for more than 40 years to Tim Hendrix. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Jordan Hendrix and wife, Nicole; daughter, Lindsey Young and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Graham and Avery Hendrix; Miya Perry; Kennedy, Salem and Riyo Young. Terri was a loving wife, mother and an adoring grandmother to her six grandchildren. She was an active member of Friendship Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Terri had many professional talents that ranged from being a paralegal to a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed interior design, antiquing and finding hidden treasures at Goodwill. T.J. Maxx has also lost their most frequent customer. We were blessed to learn many valuable lessons from Terri during her 62 years, among them: make every moment count, dancing alone is good for the soul, be a selfless giver and love life like there is no tomorrow. A memorial service celebrating Terri’s life will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Doug Howell, Pastor Dwayne Andrews and Pastor Robert Livingston officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30 until 4:00 prior to the service.
