Teresa Diane Denius

Mrs. Teresa Diane Coffey Denius, age 59, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Caldwell UNC. Born July 18, 1959 in Caldwell county, Teresa was a daughter of the late George Hubert and Esther Cox Coffey.Teresa was a teacher’s assistant and had worked at Gamewell Elementary School for close to 30 years.Teresa will be remembered as loving, with a huge heart for the kids at school.She had a great relationship with the students and faculty.She also enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her pets. She was very compassionate and loving, she always put others needs before her own. She prayed for her family every day. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Roger Denius; a daughter, Danielle Talley (husband Tony); a son, Nicholas Denius (fiancé Alyssa Reynolds); her grandchildren, Isaiah Denius, Emma Talley and Octavia Denius; a sister, Lisa Earp (husband Rick); a brother, Vic Coffey (wife Brenda); three nieces, Victoria Earp, Berina Coffey and Katelyn Earp; she is also survived by many other family members who loved her dearly. A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Doug Cox officiating.Interment will follow the service at the Nazareth Advent Christian Church.Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Talley, Rick Earp, Nicholas Denius, Wayne Ellis, Michael Talladay and Blaine Denius. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service.
