Ted Boyd Auton

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Ted Boyd Auton, age 48, of Lenoir, died Saturday, August 9, 2008 at his home. Born June 9, 1960 in Caldwell County, Ted was a son of the late Victor Lee and Hazel Teasley Auton and the husband of Nadine Pope Auton of the home. Ted was a farmer and attended Crossroads Community Church. Other than his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Michelle Barnwell and husband Jamie; Tina Eldreth and one son, Tony Thomas and wife Regina, all of Lenoir; 4 sisters, Wanda Johnson and husband Terry; Anita Rominger and husband Shelby; Lola Triplett and Joan Edmisten and husband Larry, all of Lenoir; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Nicolas, Kaylee and Triston and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Marty Triplett and nephew, Gary Wilcox. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at Noon in Auton Gardens located at Ted?s home. Officiating will be Reverend Rick Bowman.
