Teah Jackson

Teah “Poochie” Cox Jackson, age 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 5, 2024 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on October 4, 1953 to the late John Montgomery Cox and Sarah Sanders Cox.

Poochie loved her dogs and taking care of her house. She was a fighter, never giving up with her long health battles and enduring to the end. Her family was important to her and they will dearly miss her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Sam Cox.

Other than her parents, Poochie is survived by her husband, Mike Jackson; son, Dale Jackson; brothers, Mike Cox and Jimmy Cox and wife, Connie; sister’s Millie Pennell and husband, Alfred; Pamela Bass and husband, Joseph; Elisa Marley and husband, Jeff; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

A graveside service celebrating Teah’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Cox Cemetery in Ferguson.
