Tasha Perkins

Tasha Perkins, age 35, of Piney Road, Morganton passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2019 in Winston Salem, North Carolina.She was born February 20, 1984 in Caldwell County to Douglas Johnson and Patrica Ann Perkins.She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bonita Johnson and Michelle Johnson and an infant sister, Bridget Perkins. Ms. Perkins was of the Christian faith and worked in the food industry.She loved her children, her brothers and all of her family.She never met a stranger and was full of life. Survivors in addition to her parents include her stepmother, Irene Johnson of Morganton; four children Latyvia Perkins, Travaughn Perkins, Quadrell Perkins, and Malik Duncan; boyfriend, Derrick Beamer of Winston Salem; six siblings, Douglas Harshaw (Kelly) of Hickory, Dwight Johnson Sr. (Joyce) of Florida and Morganton, Albert Hill of Forest City, Douglas Tyrone Perkins (Taunia) of Lenoir, Casey Hill (Cassandra) of Union Mills, NC and Tyrisha Mitchell (Terrik) of Lenoir;and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Evans Funeral Service at 2:00 PM officiated by Pastor Pauline Cunningham.The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
