Tami Walton

Tami Nya’Jha Walton, age 25, of Lenoir went home to be with her family in Heaven on Sunday July 14, 2019 at her residence.She was born November 29, 1993 in Caldwell County to the late Bo Harbinson and Cassandra Relaine Walton of the home.In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, George and Sandra Dixon; aunt, Tammy Walton; great-grandparents, Sanders and Lorene Walton and James and Winnie Dixon; two uncles, Johnny Dixon and James Dixon Jr. In addition to her mother she is survived by three brothers, JaMichael Walton, J’Quan Taylor and Da-Von Moore; nephews, Isaiah Walton and Ja’Kilyn Taylor; two god children, Jakyah Riddle and AuNor Ray Harper and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. She graduated from Hibriten High School and was raised in West End Mennonite Brethren Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Evans Funeral Home at 3:00 PM conducted by Reverend Alexander Scott.The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 19, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home and other times at the home of J’Quan Taylor and Jessie Killian, 2256 Staircase Road, Lenoir. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made to the family C/O Cassandra Walton, 3909 Orlando’s Way, Lenoir.
