Talmadge Joseph Byrd

Talmadge Joseph Byrd, 69, of Lenoir, passed away on December 13, 2023.

Talmadge was born on August 13, 1954, to the late Talmadge Smith Byrd and Elizabeth Louise in Grayson, Virginia.

In addition to his parents, Talmadge is preceded in death by a brother; Jimmy Byrd.

Those left cherish his memory are his brother; William "Billy" Byrd.

Talmadge was a US Army Veteran of 18 years.  Talmadge was a Hickory Crawdads fan, loved Nascar Racing, enjoyed grilling out and spending time with friends. Talmadge loved sitting on his front porch with his furry companion, Tinker.  He had a good heart; he would help anyone without expecting anything in return.  Talmadge was loved by all who knew him and he will be immensely missed.

Friends will hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.
