Talley Taft Allen

Talley Taft Allen, 82, was greeted into the glory of Gods presence on Nov 9th. Born to the late Archie Allen and Cora Hollar Herman. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna Allen and brother Tory Lee Herman and stepfather Troy Herman. Survived by a sister Darlene Strome of Dawsonville GA; daughters Wanda Cathleen “Cathy” Winkler and Stacey Allen Propst (husband Mark); grandchildren April Winkler (partner Craig), Joey Winkler, Jacob Propst (fiancé Sasha Lizardo), Benjamin Propst, Sarah Millsaps (husband Justice); eight great grandchildren Coralyn Winkler, Michael Cayden Carroll, Julian Rivera, Shylee Propst, Ariel Propst, Milo Propst, Jamison Millsaps and Charlotte Millsaps . Talley was a member of Grassy Creek Baptist Church in Spruce Pine, he also attended Covenant Fellowship Ministries in Granite Falls. A celebration of life will be on Saturday, December 3rd at 2:00 at Covenant Baptist Church in Granite Falls. Evans Funeral Service is honored to serve the family of Talley Taft Allen.
