Sylvia Morrow Mrs. Sylvia Morrow, age 84, of Lenoir passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at her home. Born February 5, 1935 in Caldwell county, Annie was a daughter of the late Lindsay Tilley and Mable Patterson.Annie was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Morrow; sons, Thurman Morrow and Tony Morrow; and a grandson, Earl Eric Morrow. Survivors include her children, Diane Corpening (husband Venoi), Linda Morrow, Hugh Morrow (wife Roseshell) and Paul Morrow all from Lenoir, and Michael Morrow from Philadelphia; daughter-in-law, Marlene Morrow; her grandchildren, Tamika Clark and Kia Morrow of Hickory; Elaina Morrow, Jasper Morrow and Paul Morrow Jr. all from Lenoir, and Stephanie Corpening and Kareem Corpening of Seattle; her step daughters, Antoinette Thompson of Shelby and Gloria Maxwell of Georgia; a God daughter, Tracey Dill-Wood of New Jersey; sisters-in-law, Lottie Morrow of Brooklyn and Annie Mae Terrell of Philadelphia;She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives. There will be a service to honor Annie’s life on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 3:00 PM with Pastor Rocky Dula officiating.Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
