Sybil Bryant Mcmillan

Lenoir – Mrs. Sybil Bryant McMillan, age 85, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Caldwell County on December 2, 1928 to the late Arthur and Blanche Bryant. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred “Wick” McMillan; one sister and five brothers. Mrs. McMillan is survived by her daughters, Lori Townsend and husband, Wayne; Norma Russell and husband, David of Archdale, NC; sister, Reba Zimmerman; brother, Robert Joe Bryant; grandchildren, Nathan Russell and wife, Karen of Greensboro, NC; Andrea Russell of Trinity, NC; Heather Townsend and fiancée, Justin Gryder; great-granddaughter, Adalyn Russell of Greensboro; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. McMillan will be held in the Chapel of Evans Service on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 12:00 Noon. Inurnment will immediately follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30 until 12:00 prior to the service.
