Sue Dugger

Lenoir- Mary Sue Farthing Dugger, age 81, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Lenoir Heathcare. She was born in Watauga County on September 20, 1940 to the late Don and Tressie Farthing. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, James C. Dugger; daughter, Darla Dugger Carter; and brother, Johnny Farthing. Mrs. Dugger is survived by her children, Terry Dugger; Keith Dugger and wife, Angie; grandchildren, Matthew Barlowe; Meredith Kiser; Jonathan Carter; Ruben Dugger; Tessie Andrews; Olivia Dugger; Jackson Dugger; and “Jaybird” Dugger; great-grandchildren, Aiden Triplett; Luke Kiser; Mary Andrews; Dimitri Andrews; Bianca Barlowe; and Ivy Barlowe. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 12:00 until 1:00 PM. Interment will immediately follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
