Sue Buie

Lenoir – Mrs. Susan Wright Buie, age 73, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Attleboro, MA on January 18, 1943 to the late Raymond Wright and Marjorie Healy Wright. Mrs. Buie was married to James Buie of the residence. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sister, Lori Jean Pack and her brothers, Paul Sackett and Timothy Wright. Other than her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Michelle Hinton; brother, Raymond Wright, Jr.; sisters, Ann Tomeo, Joan Dupre and Kara Nestell; grandchildren, Robbie Hinton, Naomi Askew and Chelsea Teller; great-grandson, Kai Rushion Teller; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial service celebrating Susan’s life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the New Life Baptist Church in Lenoir. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the New Life Baptist Church Food Pantry at 2111 Walt Arney Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
