Steve Holsclaw

Granite Falls – Steven Bryan Holsclaw, age 73, went to rest with his heavenly Father on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. He was born in Caldwell County on June 2, 1948 to the late Raymond Bryan Holsclaw, Jr. and Faye Mathis Holsclaw. Steve was married to Debra Craig Holsclaw of the residence for 46 years. Steve was a veteran of the United States Army and very involved with the local Veterans Affairs. He was a long-time, active member of First Baptist Church of Hudson, where he served in many different capacities over the years and made many wonderful friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth deHaan and husband, Drew; and granddaughters, Liliana and Isabella deHaan. A private graveside service celebrating Steve’s life will be held at Sardis Cemetery in Hudson with Reverend Mack Jarvis, III officiating. Military Honors will be presented.
