Stephen Brent Moody

Connelly Springs, NC- Mr. Stephen Brent Moody, age 42, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Mr. Moody was born in Waynesville, NC on June 5, 1969 to Raymond Moody and Rosa Lee Gibson Moody. He was married to Audrey McCray Moody for 24 years. Mr. Moody was a graduate of East Burke High School and had previously worked at Highland House Furniture, Focus Leather and currently Flower̢۪s Bread Company where he was a route salesman. He was a member of Ambassador Baptist Church. Brent was saved by grace and died riding his motorcycle with his son, Kevin, whom he loved dearly. He was greatly loved and will be missed. He was preceded in death by his son, Kevin Brent Moody. In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his brothers, Eric Moody and Cindy; Greg Moody and wife, Kim; friends, Brett and Renee Cole and their sons, Dillon and Tyler; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mr. Moody̢۪s life will be held at Ambassador Baptist Church on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 2:30 with Pastor Robert Setzer and Pastor Shawn Davis officiating. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Hickory immediately following the service. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 prior to the service.
