Stephen Deal

Max Stephen Deal, age 80, of Granite Falls, North Carolina passed away on June 25, 2023 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson. Stephen was born on February 8, 1943 to the late Max Sinclair Deal and Margie Bollinger Taylor. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his stepson, Mark Allen Deal. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Judy Deal; brother, Larry Deal (wife, Carlene); sister, Melinda Clay (husband, Michael); sister in law, Joan Greene (husband, Steve); numerous nieces and nephews; and a special grand nephew, Parker Deal who he thought of as a grandson. Stephen was a Veteran of the United States Airforce. He worked in communications all of his life. Stephen enjoyed traveling, reading, woodworking, and spending time with his family.
