Lenoir, NC- Mr. Steele Farris Jolley, age 82, of Lenoir, died Wednesday, February 11, 2009 in Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born July 4, 1926 in Caldwell County, Mr. Jolley was a son of the late Lester and Grace Pennell Jolley and the husband of the late Earlene Mullinax Jolley. Mr. Jolley attended Kings Creek Baptist Church. He was a retired electrician with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) local 379. He was a U.S. Army veteran and an avid NASCAR fan. Mr. Jolley is survived by his daughter, Barbara J. Watson and husband Michael of Lenoir; 2 sons, William Terry Jolley and wife Sun of Enterprise, AL; Curtis Jolley of Lenoir; one sister, Sherila J. Tester of North Wilkesboro; 8 grandchildren, Robert Jolley and wife Tracey of Dothan, AL; Michael Jolley of Enterprise, AL; Jason Watson of Lenoir; Mandy Singletary and husband Tim of Kannapolis; Matthew Watson and wife Althea of Lenoir; Tyler Jolley of Lenoir; Ethan Jolley of Lenoir; Brittany Greene and husband John of Lenoir and 3 great-grandsons, Rylan and Kaden Jolley of Dothan, AL and Maddox Greene of Lenoir. Other than his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Dale ?Rick? Jolley; one brother, Howard Jolley and 4 sisters, Stella Jolly, Molley Henry, Beatrice Lackey and Winnie Coffey. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 11:00 until 12:00 at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir. A graveside service will follow in the Grandin Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Randy Goode officiating.
