Stacy Ward

Mr. Stacy Lee Ward, age 48, of Hudson, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at his home after a brief battle with Leukemia. Born June 20, 1969 in Caldwell County, Stacy was a son of the late Jackie and Betty Mitcham Ward.Stacy enjoyed watching Star Trek and collecting Samurai swords. Stacy will be remembered as a devoted father and friend.He also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Soul.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Tim Ward. Survivors include his daughter, Emily Nicole Ward; a son, Dylan Pettry; the mother of his children, Rebecca Ward; a brother, J.D. Ward; two nieces, Doranda Ward Hedrick (husband Nolan) and Samantha Ward; a great nephew, Nate Hedrick and a great niece, Addison Hedrick; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A visitation celebrating Stacy’s life will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
