Shirley Ruth Murphy, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation in Nebo. She was born in Caldwell County on December 8, 1934 and was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
Shirley was an excellent cook and she enjoyed working in her flower bed and vegetable garden. Her passion was playing cards with her friends at the Senior Center.
A private graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
