Shirley Mae Crump

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Shirley Mae Earp Crump, age 80, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Born April 10, 1936 in Elbert, NC, Shirley was a daughter of the late Richard and Kate Earp. She was Baptist by faith and had worked in the furniture industry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Crump; a son, Dale Crump; a daughter Gail Miller; a brother, Don Earp; a son in law, Charles Anderson; two daughters in law, Carolyn Crump and Nelli Crump; a special grandson, Steven Crump; and one great grandson, Allen Davis. Survivors include two sons, Donald Crump (wife Daine) of Lenoir and Darrel Crump of Lenoir; a daughter, Nancy Anderson of Lenoir; she is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 2:00 PM with Pastor Ronnie Miller and Cody Shew officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park’s Wildwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
