Sherry Hamby Pritchard

Hickory, NC- Sherry Lynn Hamby Pritchard, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Frye Regional Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on April 13, 1947 to Alda Triplett Hamby and the late Carl Monroe Hamby. She was employed at Pine Mountain Finishing in Hudson. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her infant son, Ashley Burke Pritchard. Other than her mother she is survived by her daughter, Andrea DeFrancisco and husband, Tom; son, Stephen Pritchard and wife, Kimberly; son, Jordan Pritchard and wife, Brie; brother, Michael Hamby; grandchildren, Thomas Anthony DeFrancisco, Jr., Jessica Ruby DeFrancisco, Alyssa Alda DeFrancisco, Valerie Ann Pritchard, Colby Adam Pritchard, Lucy Rae Pritchard, Easton Grant Pritchard; and numerous nieces, cousins, close family members, and friends at Pine Mountain Finishing. A celebration of Sherry̢۪s life will be held at Calvary Advent Christian Church on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jim Lee officiating. The family will receive friends at Calvary Advent Christian Church from 1:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
