Granite Falls, NC- Mrs. Shelby Jean Harrison, age 71, passed away on November 11, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Caldwell County on February 7, 1941 to the late Romie B. Harrison and Helen Fox Speagle. She was married to the late Roy Danny Evans. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Frankie Lewis and her sister, Donna Ward. Mrs. Harrison is survived by her daughters, Geri Evans of Granite Falls, Tammy Mitchem of Thomasville, Jolene Hulin of Thomasville, Carol Duncan of Thomasville, and her son, Roger Evans of Granite Falls; 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
