Sheila Woodie Barlow

Sheila Woodie Barlow, age 82, passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Catawba Valley Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on June 9, 1936 to the late Conrad and Hazel Woodie. Sheila loved laughter. She never met a stranger and was a lover of dogs, probably more than her children. The world has been a better place having Sheila around to spread her laughter and humor. Heaven is now filled with more laughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.W. Barlow. Sheila is survived by her children, Kevin Barlow and wife, Lisa; Karen Barlow Hartley and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Amy Bucher and husband, Eric; Wesley Barlow and wife, Jennifer; and Zachary Hartley; great-grandchildren, Cole Dymora; Ella Barlow; Nathan Bucher; Mason Barlow; and Bodie Barlow. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, April 7, 2019 from 2:00 until 3:30 PM.
