Sharon O. Miller

Our dear wife and mother, Sharon O. Miller, 74, of Lenoir went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare.She was born May 18, 1944 in Catawba County to the late Doctor Marvin and Edna Mae Ogle.In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Marvin Ogle. Sharon was a loving wife and caring mother who loved the Lord and faithfully attended New Hope Baptist Church of Lenoir where she was a member. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Edwin Miller of the home; a daughter, Julie M. Bowman and husband Steven; a son, Billy Miller and wife Rachel; granddaughters, Sophia and Elyse Bowman all of Lenoir; three sisters, Betty Edstrom, Jean Kirby, and Joan Sherrill, all of Granite Falls; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 17, 2019 at New Hope Baptist Church at 4:00 pm conducted by Pastor Joe Angle of New Hope Baptist Church of Lenoir and Pastor William Miller of Drowning Creek Baptist Church.The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 3:00-4:00 pm at the church.Interment will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
