Shannon Edward Auton

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Shannon Edward Auton, age 34, of Lenoir, died Thursday, May 28, 2009. Born March 4, 1975 in Caldwell County, Mr. Auton was a son of Deedee Triplett of Lenoir and Eddie Kilpatrick of Milton, Fl. He was a welder with Blair Iron and Metal and attended Decision Independent Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his Grandmother, Hazel Auton; Step-Father, Marty Triplett; Uncle, Ted Auton and Cousin, Garry Wilcox.  Other than his mother and father, he is survived by his fiancée, Heidi Wilcox of Lenoir; two sons, Triston and Hayden Auton of Lenoir; Step-Children, Brooke and Colby Wilcox of Lenoir; one sister, Marcie Triplett of Lenoir and two brothers, Nathan Triplett of Lenoir and Ryan Kilpatrick of Cocoa, FL.  A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held 5:00 PM Sunday, May 31, 2009 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Ricky Triplett officiating.
