Sarah Church Adams

Sarah Church Adams, age 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Amorem Burke, surrounded by her family. She was born in Caldwell County on February 2, 1938 to the late John and Bessie Church.

Sarah was a wonderful wife and mother. She cared for her family and enjoyed spending time with the light of her world, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  As the wife of a veteran, she had the opportunity to travel the world.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Adams; sisters, Margaret, Faye, Rachel and her brothers, Homer, Paul and Joseph.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Taylor and husband, Bill; son, Ronald Scott and steadfast friend, Martha Johnson; grandchildren, Andrea, Brenda, Brian and Timmy; brother, James Church; numerous great-grandchildren; and other family members.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
