Sandra Barr Wilson

Lenoir – Mrs. Sandra Barr Wilson, age 70, of Lenoir, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson.Born December 11, 1944 in Washington County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Grant Judson and Pearl Mae Brewer Barr. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Lenoir Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl Barr, Paul Barr, James Barr, Hubert Barr and a sister Della Beribak. She is survived by her husband, James Clifton Wilson of Meadowview, VA; three children, Randy Wilson of Lenoir; Denise Correll and husband Val of Lenoir; Judson Wilson of Meadowview, VA; three sisters, Gaye Campbell of Granite Falls; June Osborne of Johnson City, TN; Carol Hubbard of Abington, VA; three grandchildren, Casey, Brandi, Holly and four great-grandchildren, Chloe, Tansley, Eliana and Gabriella. A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held 4:30 PM Saturday, March 14, 2014 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with the local minister of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.Burial will take place in the Widener’s Valley Cemetery in Damascus, VA.
