Samuel Bernice Beane

Samuel Bernice Beane, age 93, of Lenoir, NC, passed away on Sunday, March 24th, 2024. He was born on January 25th, 1931 in North Carolina.

Samuel will be remembered during a visitation on Thursday, March 28, 2024 from 11:30am-12:30pm at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:30pm. Burial will take place at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church following the service.

Samuel is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Beane, parents John "Ervin" and Leola Beane, and brothers Bill Beane, Fredric Beane, and Kenneth Beane.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Barnes and husband, Kellar, son, Ricky Beane and wife, Debbie, grandchildren, Adam Triplett and wife, Whitney, Lindsey Raggio and husband, Diego, Holly Greene and husband, Jonathan, Tucker Beane and wife, Bailey, great-grandchildren Grady, Everson, Briar, Gavynn, Kaden, and Eli, sister Mavis Harris, brother Wilford Beane and wife, Linda, and friends and staff at The Shaire Center in Lenoir.

He worked as a Plant Manager at Bernhardt Furniture and served in the Army. Samuel had a love for gospel music, gardening, and golf.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Arrangements are entrusted to Evans Funeral Service & Crematory. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
