Ruth Jones Ritch

Ruth Jones Ritch, age 96, of Lenoir, North Carolina passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Lenoir Healthcare. Ruth was born on July 29, 1925 to the late Cinda Roebertie Jones. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ritch; sons, Cecil Cornett, Bill Cornett, and Joe Cornett; daughter, Carolyn Brotherton; brothers, Howard Jones, Paul Jones; and sister, Irene Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Cannon of Granite Falls, Mary Carpenter and husband Steve of Granite Falls, and Dorothy Cornett of Morganton; son, Gary Cornett of Lenoir; sisters, Judy Bryant of Connelly Springs and Louise Presnell of Greensboro; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life to honor Ruth Jones Ritch will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 3:00PM at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Melton officiating.
