Ruth Crouch Camp

Hudson, NC- Mrs. Ruth Crouch Camp, age 90, of Hudson, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Born November 22, 1920 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Camp was a daughter of the late William and Mattie Mae Coffey Crouch and the wife of the late Floyd Russell Camp. Mrs. Camp was a homemaker and charter member of First Baptist Church of Hudson where she was very active in her Sunday School Class. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Christine Troutman. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Camp of Hudson, Camille “Cami” Childers and husband Boyd of Easley, SC; 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Sardis Cemetery in Hudson with Reverend Mack Jarvis, III and Reverend Jim Hamby officiating. The family will be receiving friends at their home.
