Ruby Lee Stevens

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Ruby Lee Stevens, age 66, of Lenoir, died Friday, October 2, 2009 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born December 10, 1942 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Stevens was a daughter of the late Ralph and Ella Marie Haas Teeters. Mrs. Stevens had worked for Chair Craft. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Teeters. She is survived by 2 daughters, Debra Hollar of Lenoir; Joyce Bolick and husband Ricky of Granite Falls; 2 sons, Barry Stevens of Hickory; Darrell Stevens and wife Annette of Lenoir; one sister, Addie Lackey and husband Clyde of Lenoir; one brother, Edward Teeters of Lenoir; 6 grandchildren; Jamie, Nicole, Sheri, Anthony, Paul and Shannon; 6 great-grandchildren, Colby, Maria, Jasmine, Carmen, Lily, and Logan and 2 special friends, Patricia Icenhour and Nikki Buff. A celebration of Mrs. Steven?s life will be held 4:00 PM Monday, October 5, 2009 at Bethel Advent Christian Church with Reverend Jerry Burnette officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 PM, one hour prior to the service at Bethel Advent Christian Church. Pallbearers will be: Darrell Stevens, Barry Stevens, Paul Hollar, Anthony Stevens, Juan Pina and Hugo Resendiz. Honorary pallbearers will be: Ricky Bolick and Dennis Auton.
