Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Ruby Estelle Seagle German, age 92, of Lenoir, died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. A loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, she was born May 27, 1915 in Franklin, NC, Mrs. German was a daughter of the late Henry and Octi Jones Seagle and the wife of the late Paul German. Mrs. German was a member of Church of Resurrection Hope and had retired from Singer Furniture. She is survived by 2 sons, Larry German and wife Diane; and Mike German, all of Hudson; one daughter, Mrs. George (Joyce) Brown of Hudson; one sister, Addie Seagle of Lawrenceville, GA; one Grandson, Jonathan Brown of Hudson; 2 Granddaughters, Leslie Brown Barger and Stephanie German, both of Hudson and 3 Great-grandchildren, Casey Whisnant, Savannah Brown and Matthew Barger, all of Hudson. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2007 in the Sardis Cemetery in Hudson with Reverend James Ritch officiating. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir on Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 9:30 until 10:30, prior to the service. Mrs. German?s loving family members will serve as pallbearers.
