Ruby Lowe

Ruby Elaine Lowe, 67, of Lenoir, passed away on November 12, 2020. Ruby was born to the late Robert and Timmie Lowe of Alexander County. Ruby was a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church and a member of the VFW Ladies’ Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her siblings: Jeanette Small, Bobby Gene Lowe, Gary Eugene Lowe, Betty Greene, and Wayne Melton. Ruby is survived by her children: Robert Lowe and Sonia Westburg; Nancy Baker and husband Jeff; and Lisa Reid and husband Dedrick. Ruby is survived by her brother, Steve Allen Lowe, and sister, Lorene Silvia Pettit. Ruby leaves behind her grandchildren: Chelsea Frye and husband Matthew; Josh Lowe; Nathan Lowe; Adrian Martin; Cody Reid; Heaven Reid; Connor Baker; and Zack Baker. She is survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. There will be a celebration of life for Ruby on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 4:00 pm at Grandview Baptist Church. Reverend Raymond Spann will be officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. Social distancing regulations will be followed, and the family asks that masks be worn.
