Roy Norman Rash

Lenoir, NC- Mr. Roy Norman Rash, age74, of Lenoir, died Friday, April 16, 2010, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Mr. Rash was born in Yadkin County on November 19, 1935 to the late Clarence V. Rash and Eva Mae Jolly Rash. Roy served in the Marines and worked in the Furniture Industries for Singer Furniture. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dewey Rash; and 3 sisters, Eula Mae Parsons, Viola Martin, and Beulah Church. Surviving are 3 sisters, Esther Bowers of Lenoir, Dolly Church of Morganton, and Helen Galliher of Newton and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 3:00 at the Blue Ridge Memorial Park Cemetery with Reverend Randy Gibson officiating.
