Roy "Billy" Miller

Mr. Roy William “Billy” Miller, age 62, of Hudson went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Hickory Falls in Granite Falls. Born October 31, 1959 in Caldwell County, Roy was a son of Sarah Blankenship Miller.Roy had worked as a truck driver for all of his life.He was a member of Mountain Grove Baptist Church as such Roy was a choir member and volunteered with the food pantry.Roy enjoyed sports, especially Nascar.He was a collector of Nascar memorabilia. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Misty Miller; his maternal grandparents, Bynum and Verlee Blankenship. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his sons, Michael Miller (wife Anna), Brian Miller, Tony Miller and Jeremy Miller; his siblings, Barbara Barney, Eric Miller (wife Tammy), Tracy Nelson (wife Robin), Lisa Cook (husband Terry) and Tonya Wright; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Roy’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM with Reverend Larry Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
