Roy Roger Mccarty Jr.

Roy Roger “Buttons” McCarty Jr., 51, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023. He was born May 27, 1972, to the late Roger and Betty McCarty. He is predeceased by his parents and his sister Angie McCarty Kincaid.

Those left to cherish his memory are his niece Amber Jones Kirby of Bethlehem, husband Austin, many aunts, uncles and cousins and special friend Jerald Ross.

Buttons was a kindhearted soul, who was a friend to everyone he met.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.

The family would like to thank the social workers who showed concern and care for Buttons over the last few years.
