Roy Lynn Eagle

Roy Lynn Eagle, 67, of Granite Falls went to be with our Lord and Savior on February 10, 2022. Roy was born in Virginia to the late Eugene and Mary Eagle on January 26, 1955. Roy was married to Ginger Helton Eagle for 20 years. Roy retired from FedEx in December 2020 after 18 years of employment. He was known for his servant’s heart, humor and being full of life. In addition to his parents, Roy is preceded in death by his sister, Frances Eagle, and a brother Harold Eagle. In addition to his wife, Roy is survived by his children: Ryan Eagle of Florida, Brooke Murphy of North Carolina, and Carson Wingler of North Carolina. He is survived by his sister, Alice Nester of Virginia, and his brother, Rev. Tom Eagle of North Carolina. Roy is survived by his grandchildren: Merritt Murphy, Drew Murphy, Logan Eagle, Cameron Eagle, Savanah Eagle, Brooks Eagle, Kiara Lugo, Carolina Lugo, and Jennedy Gonzalez. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Amorem Hospice at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
