Roxanne Watson

Roxanne Watson, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Cleveland County on July 18, 1959 to the late William and Elizabeth Dyke. She was married to Ernest Watson, of the home, for 50 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Rodney Dyke.

Other than her husband, Roxanne is survived by her son, Walt Watson and wife, Bridgett; daughters, Deborah Schronce; Ericka Watson; grandchildren, Summer Schronce; Schuyler Schronce; great-grandchildren, Elijah and Josiah Rutherford; sisters, Wanda Wilson; Sylvia Maples; and her nieces and nephews.

A graveside service celebrating Roxanne’s life will be held at Mountain Rest Cemetery in King’s Mountain at a date to be announced.
